The best salad EVER

Trust me on this one, because I never, ever, ever, ever exagerate

Apple, Pear, & Arugula Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette (from California Wine  Country Secrets)

4 Bunches Arugula
2 Apples Sliced
1/4 c walnuts, toasted
1 shallot, minced
1/2 c balsamic vinegar
1/2 c olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 lb gorgonzola cheese

For vinaigrette: Combine the shallot, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and lemon juice and whisk. 




The Chinese game hens weren't too shabby either (although the picture is a bit creepy)
