Ah - Montana!

Much to my mother's surprise, Ed and I made it back from Montana without getting kidnapped by escaped convicts, contracting Lyme disease, or getting attacked by a grizzly bear.

Montana is gorgeous, the people are friendly, and there's always a new adventure to embark on (fishing, hiking, driving and taking in the scenery).  We're already planning a trip back in the late spring.

Now that I'm almost an old lady (my 30th birthday is a couple weeks away - sigh) I'm becoming more and more impatient/unsatisfied with crowds, noise, and the city grind.  I'm starting to think maybe we should all pack up and head up to the wilds of Montana....start a commune...raise goats, weave blankets, and make huckleberry jam...game?

  1. The imagery I was always given of Montana (aside from "Big Sky" country) was of people sitting on their front porches with shotguns...glad it wasn't true.
I will not post this comment as Anonymous in case I ever visit Montana. :)

  2. Uh - you're pretty spot on with your imagery...except the people with the shotguns are really, really nice ;)
